little somethings
On Valentine’s Day, I came home from a LONG day at the book store to find this little package in the mail waiting for me! It’s from one of my lovely collectors, and as the button, says I LOVE mail! It was so sweet of her to think of me!
As I was at work, I was sighing over all the books I want to buy and got the idea for this painting…..
If only books grew on trees. Then I’d be a very happy girl. This little painting sold almost as soon as I posted it, but then a man from “Working America” came to my door asking for donations to support their fight for universal healthcare. So, as I’m a sucker for good causes, there went that money. Anyway, I’ll have prints of this little book tree available starting tomorrow and hopefully a couple other new originals.
